The mental exhaustion and reduced decision-making capacity experienced when confronted with an overwhelming number of methodological frameworks, guidelines, and standards in a field.


Note: This phenomenon has gained particular significance in the artificial intelligence sector, where the rapid emergence of multiple frameworks for AI governance, ethics, and development has created challenges for effective implementation and compliance across industries.
